Our commitment to diversity

Putting together a diverse agenda with a representative amount of male and female speakers is hard. All events can benefit from a multifaceted discussion, but you need proper tools to help.

This is the reason why we have added a new feature to your Request for Proposals that shows talk submissions filtering by the gender of the speakers.

By picking a gender for the drop down, you will see only talks with at least one speaker of the proposed gender. The platform guesses the gender of the speaker from the first name of the speaker and the country of origin, but each speaker can modify or disable the value on their settings page.

All events are different, and not all have the same objectives in mind. This is just a small addition to our platform to help you measure where you are, and hopefully, get better. We hope that it helps.
